Rental Information

Annapolis Friends Meeting House is available for renting by room or in its entirety to individuals, non-profit, and for-profit groups. Our one story building is handicap-accessible. Kitchen is available for set-up only. The modern facility is in a residential area on the edge of Annapolis proper and has its own large parking area. Handicapped accessible and wired for assisted hearing, the facility can accommodate up to 145 persons.

For further information or to reserve rental space at the AFM Meeting House, please contact the AFM Building Use Coordinator (BUC) as provided below.  In your request for rental, please indicate the dates and times you wish to use our Meeting House, as well as the purpose and approximate number of people you expect at your event. Also let us know if you wish to use the kitchen facility and if any special arrangements are required.  Every effort will be made to respond to your request within 48 hours.

While last minute accommodations may be possible,  potential renters are encouraged to make an initial contact with their preliminary request a minimum of 30-days prior to the desired time of the event .

Multipurpose Room

This is the large multi-purpose room measuring not less than 34'x30'. This room has seating capacity of approximately 145 persons (although we only have a total of about 110 chairs in the building), a hearing assistance microphone loop (with various headsets available for those who desire hearing assistance), and a cork floor. There are also not less than seventeen lightweight tables available of two differing sizes (three 5' round and eleven 2-1/2'x6' rectangular, with another three of the latter in the attic).  A piano sits in the corner.

 

Classroom

This is a double classroom measuring12'x20'with window/door shades.  There is a folding room divider permanently installed that allows quick division of the space into two rooms of equal size.  There are a small nursery and library rooms across the hall measuring about 10'x'12 each.  A kitchen is also available for set-up (no cooking).  There is a rear patio outside this room with partial covered awning and a couple of picnic tables.  A couple of 10'x10' tent coverings are also available.
